Ermita del Conde, our winery, is the fulfilment of a dream that started during the year 2006 joining the destiny and the passion for wine.
In Coruña del Conde, a small village located to the southeast part of Burgos, we found some centenary vineyards of Tempranillo and Albillo grapes, some of them pre-phylloxera vines, that were languishing over time.
Along with a team that wanted to get involved in this project, we rescued 68 microplots of extreme vineyards at almost 1,000 metres’ altitude. Our soils composed of limestone together with sand and some areas with rocks, started to give us very intense and expressive wines with pronounced flavours and aromas from our area in Castilla y León.
That was the way our social project started to grow, taken on a commitment with the rural environment of Coruña del Conde and its families. Later on the grapes from more centenary vineyards located in other villages as Peñalba de Castro, Hinojar del Rey, Arauzo de Salce, Brazacorta and Arandilla were added to our winery.
We are proud of our work and have a good foundation to keep building the future. We hope to share with all of you our wines full of good sensations. We also hope you breathe our love for the environment.
